Can't introduce a key bindings combination for call to other applications that it isn't in the "key bindings combinations" application.

Comment 1 usr 2008-11-29 04:32:19 UTC
I'm sorry, I meant:

Can't introduce a key bindings combination for call to other applications that
they aren't in the "key bindings combinations" application.
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-12-03 08:38:13 UTC
-> metacity

I don't think the description is clear enough. Anyway, key bindings belong to Metacity.
Comment 3 Thomas Thurman 2008-12-03 09:17:21 UTC
You can bind almost any keystroke to any action in Metacity. It may be that the settings dialogue doesn't allow you to specify them properly, but the settings dialogue is part of control-center, not Metacity. Is that the problem?
Comment 4 usr 2008-12-03 13:26:34 UTC
I think that this isn't a wish for metacity (really do this the window manager?), it's for gnome-keybinding-properties.

The problem is that can't asign any application that not exists in gnome-keybinding-properties.
Comment 5 Thomas Thurman 2008-12-03 13:43:04 UTC
Okay, then it's a problem in gnome-keybindings-properties and not metacity.
