Description Thomas 2008-11-28 19:40:05 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I had my OpenOffice spreadsheet open, copied some data via Ctrl-C, and pasted it into the search field of my contacts in evolution. The data would not be pasted.
I pasted it into gnome-terminal or any other app and there was no problem.
The problem also exists in the tasks, journal and calendar.
Interestingly, pasting the data into the search field of the mailer page worked.
Workaround is to use the middle mouse button to paste data.

Steps to reproduce:

Have the same issue with Emails, there's also an Ubuntu report here: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/evolution/+bug/317845 which describe the issue.

Works for me for the Quick Search Bar with LibreOffice 3.4.6 and Evolution 3.2.3. Is this still an issue?
