Currently there is no option to synchronize a device with a playlist (or playlists) rather than the whole Music / Video library. 

For people with smaller-capacity devices or with lots of music they don't listen to much anymore but still keep in the library, it would be nice to be able to specify a playlist to sync their device with, instead of only being able to do it either manually or with the whole library.
