Description Jonathan Ernst 2008-11-21 18:33:48 UTC
Mail notification plugin should have a sound notification option called "use system settings" and use this option by default instead of using the PC speaker to output an old school beep.

GNOME sound settings make it possible to set up a new mail sound, but this is not used by Evolution because of this plugin.

Good opportunity here to ditch gnome-sound for libcanberra...
Comment 2 Milan Crha 2009-10-29 17:13:16 UTC
This had been done within bug #571488, I only committed a fix to not crash evolution when using a themed sound and no filename is set.
