Add option for wifi cards in PPPoE connection
Comment 1 Luke Symes 2009-02-28 11:19:49 UTC
I can confirm this is missing in Ubuntu Intrepid. I had to manually connect using "sudo pppoeconf" and "sudo pon dsl-provider". Disconnect with "sudo poff". Apparently this was an "oversight" and supposed to get fixed sometime...
Comment 2 Mustafa Younis 2009-02-28 12:17:06 UTC
but "pppoeconf" only in debian based
I am using openSUSE
and pppoe-setup is not working with wireless
Comment 3 Rodrigo Carvalho Silva 2009-03-26 22:41:46 UTC
I can confirm this and this is a very useful option. My father in law (basic user) is starting to use Linux now and I had to make a workaround (that doesn't work 100%) for him to get connected.

I would appreciate a lot if you add this option in a future release!

Distro used: Ubuntu 8.10
