Description Casey Jones 2008-11-18 03:45:53 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have a dual monitor setup, and each runs it's own instance of X. On the second monitor if I start an application like Banshee or Pidgin, they start up, but they won't have an icon in the notification tray. If I close pidgin, it closes completely instead of minimizing to tray.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Dual monitors running seperate instances of X
2. Start application that uses Notification area

Actual results:
No icon appears in notification area

Expected results:
Icon appears in tray

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Might not have been clear enough in the steps to reproduce, but this only applies to the second monitor, the first one works just fine.
