Please describe the problem:
I have create an dia file 4 days ago. When i will open again the file, program said :
Erreur au chargement du diagramme U:\prv\schéma_général.dia.
Type du fichier inconnu.

In english version it would be : Error on loading file U:\prv\schéma_général.dia.
unknown type.



I try to restore this file from the backup of creation date. It still same.

is it a procedure to recover the file ? 

Does this happen every time?
yes with this file. other file work well. 

Other information:
I'm on Windows XP. 
Dia version is v0.96.1.
I will spent 4 hours of work if i cannt recover the file

There is probably no corruption with your file, just some mismatch between the loader used and the actual format of the file. 
I have seen this once but was never able to reproduce. Please doublecheck the selected format ("Determine file type").
Another issue may be a mismatch between the format and the extension given. You may want to attach the file here to let me check.
