Description oa 2008-11-17 07:44:43 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have been using a "New Messages in any account" search as an Evo virtual folder for ages. The search is

Match any of following
- Status is Important or
- Status is not Read or
- Date Received is after 8 Hours Ago

in the INBOXes of my IMAP accounts. After upgrading to 2.24, the folder is no longer usable because messages are removed from this search immediately after opening.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create the search folder above
2. Select a message in that folder
3. For extra credit, turn off message preview beforehand and doubleclick the message to open in another window

Actual results:
Message is shown for split-second, then it disappears from the search and the new window blanks out contents.

Expected results:
Same as with 2.22: message stays in the search folder and is fully actionable until user switches to another folder. This way the search is actually usable.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
