GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 560929
Synchronizing podcasts between ipod nano and banshee
Last modified: 2009-04-27 15:17:57 UTC
I'd like to be able to synchronize my podcasts from banshee to my purple gen 4 nano ipod (8GB). Currently the files are copied, but they are marked as neither audio nor video (they show up as orange in the bar that shows disk usage for the ipod). If I synchronize and then eject my ipod, no podcasts are visible under the podcast menu. Strangely, synchronization between an ipod shuffle and banshee seems to work fine, eventhough the files are occupying "orange space" on the ipod.

I have experienced the same issue. I love banshee but I still need to run rhythbox for this.

I have the same problem here, with an ancient iPod 3G. Podcasts don't show up in the podcast menu of the iPod, but do in the podcast menu (in the iPod) in Banshee. Searching the web I've seen this is a quite old bug. I'm a developer but never programmed with mono (nor .net). Where can I find info about iPod add-in so I can try to find the problem? Thanks!
