Description wolfgang steitz 2008-11-10 22:09:05 UTC
Currently its possible to jump to the next /previous track via keyboard shortcuts and to play/pause. What is not possible is to change the rating of the current song. I'd love to just press super-5 or whatever keyboard combination to rate the song I'm listening to.

I just installed monodevelop and will give it a shot. Maybe there are some others who would like this feature. Could also be used by a possible gnome-do plugin.

I just want to vote for this enhancement. I need it for a remote control application.

Oops, forgot this bug .. meanwhile I've written a patch which adds rating to the DBus interface. It is documented at bug #579754 .
