Description Nicolò Chieffo 2008-11-05 13:50:31 UTC
If I edit a song tag (for instance "title") and I hit save, and eject, the title is still the old one when I play the song on my ipod nano 3g.

It also happens here. And by here, I mean banshee-1.4.2-4.fc10.x86_64 running under an up-to-date Fedora 10, communicating with iPod nano 2nd generation.

I'm experiencing this issue too. But i'm not with iPod. I've got a Creative Zen Xtra, which is used as an MTP device.
I'm running banshee from git master.

I think I can easily extend the patch for bug 589196 to cover this scenario as well, so I'll mark that bug as a dependency.
Comment 4 Andrés G. Aragoneses (IRC: knocte) 2010-05-31 10:13:43 UTC
In bug 589196 I uploaded a patch that fixes this in the manual-mode case.

I'll leave this for the auto-sync case, so I'll rename the summary.

Andrea, after that bug is fixed, I'll create a patch for fixing this one, but which will likely not cover MTP devices. Could you open a new bug for that?
