Alitily to export a diagram to file would be very useful feature.

depending on whether you'd want to save the diagram as an image or for re-opening it in baobab this is either a rough duplicate of #402383 (Copy image functionality) or of #536503 (Allow usage of external scanner programs), although in neither case it's an exact match. extending both bug reports appropriately.
