Description problemdog 2008-10-27 17:30:52 UTC
Please describe the problem:
gnome-video-thumbnailer tries to thumbnail a video file that is being downloaded via transmission torrent client. Not even 1.0 % fully downloaded of the file, it obviously fails, and uses 100% CPU not giving up.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Transmission and feed it with an AVI torrent
2. Select Desktop as the destination folder for the downloaded video

Actual results:
CPU usage is 100% by gnome-video-thumbnailer

Expected results:
I'd expect gnome-video-thumbnailer to realize there's nothing yet to be thumbnailed.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
