Description Matthew Paul Thomas (mpt) 2008-10-23 09:22:46 UTC
Gnome 2.24, Ubuntu Intrepid

1. Open "Time and Date".
2. Click "Unlock" so that the "Authenticate" alert opens.
3. Wait 26 seconds.

What should happen: Nothing.
What actually happens: A "Could not authenticate" error message appears: "An unexpected error has occurred."

Well, that's a little ridiculous indeed. This must be Bug 578037, which has been fixed by Chris Coulson in commmit 341d01941791e5dfae0a13f3bb727f930deb7dd3, released in 2.27.2 (present in Karmic now). Please reopen if it's not the case.
