Description Diego González 2008-10-21 10:04:32 UTC
I seems that from some time up until now the method for icon alignment on the desktop has changed, and now, instead of using the icon itself the text below the icons are used. In this way it is impossible to align the icons on the grid.

See the image attached:
The folder called "My Documents" cannot be aligned in the same horizontal coordinates as the folder called "My eDocs", i guess it is because the caption is being used as a reference for alignment instead of just using the icon.

This is not reproducible here. See the attachment: i checked "keep icons aligned" in the desktop's right-click menu, all the icon centers align perfectly.

Can you please check if this is bug is still present for you with a newer version?
