Please describe the problem: I HAVE INSTALLED GNU CASH ON MY WINDOWS XP SYSTEM, AND I HAD CREATED A COMPANY AND SAVE, THEN I CLOSE THIS APPLICATION, AFTER SOME TIME I OPENED AGAIN BUT NOT OPENING AND SHOWING A MESSAGE LIKE "THERE IS NO DISK IN THE DRIVE. PLEASE INSERT A DISK INTO DRIVE" -CANCEL- TRY AGAIN - COUNTINUE. WHAT I S THE PROBLEM? HOW CAN SOLV? I AM DOWNLOADED TO MY DESKTOP AND I DONT INSERTED ANY CD. MY SISTEM: WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PACK 2 INTEL CORE 2 DUO CPU E4600 @2.40GHz 2.39GHz, 0.99 GB OF RAM FREE SPACE ON C DRIVE = 89.0 GB Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Yea I got the same problem on XP Home SP3, created accounts (much effort expended) and now a few days later I can't get at them. I found a post on bugzilla "Bug 554639 – GnuCash 2.2.7 fails to install on Windows Vista x64"
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but the maintainers need more information to fix the bug.
