Description Tim Jackson 2008-10-18 11:41:17 UTC
When showing a summary of what's currently playing (either in the main UI or tooltip on the tray icon), if a track has no album it shows:

"Foo Track by Bar Artist from Unknown"

This sounds a bit silly/wrong (not least because "Unknown" could hypothetically be the name of an album) and should be simplified to just:

"Foo Track by Bar Artist"

N.B. that missing album is not necessarily an error; could just be a single.

Comment 3 Jonathan Matthew 2013-06-01 20:45:25 UTC
No, this is not a duplicate of that bug. Bug 328971 is about changing the way empty tags are stored in the database, this is about how things are displayed.
