Description Bago 2008-10-17 16:56:29 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The ipod has for example 1Mb left, I transfer a 2Mb song, rhythmbox tells me the ipod is full, the ipod now has 0Mb left. I find a 1Mb version of my song on the ipod (i search for it in the file system I don't see it in rhythmbox). It seems the file began to transfer and could not finish but the file is left on the device wasting space.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get an ipod with ~1Mb space left
2. Transfer a file with size greater than the space left on the device
3. Check space left on the device
4. Look for a new file created on device within last 2 minutes. ( find -iname *mp3 -cmin 2 )

Actual results:
a partial file gets left on the ipod

Expected results:
rhythmbox should delete the partial file or check size before it begins transfer

Does this happen every time?
yes
