regression: mixer applet opens windows on wrong screen

Please describe the problem: == Regression details == Discovered in version:2.24.0 Last known good version:2.22.0 I am using 2 monitors that are on 2 different x screens, without Xinerama. When I click on the gnome-mixer(on the second screen), the opening bar, that allows to adjust the sound level, is shown beneath the gnome panel on the first screen. this wasn't the case back in gnome 2.22 the menu items "Preferences" and "about" open windows on the wrong screen, too. though this is a bug that existed in gnome 2.22, too. nevertheless it is a bug. kernel: 2.6.27-4-generic Ubuntu: Intrepid(8.10) gnome-panel:2.24.0 Gnome: 2.24.0 my video driver is: nvidia-glx-173: Installed: 173.14.12-1-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 173.14.12-1-0ubuntu3 Steps to reproduce: 1. use 2 different xscreens 2. click on the mixer applet or open "Preferences Actual results: windows are being opened in the wrong screen. I see this bug in 2.22 in Debian Testing ('preferences' dialog always appears on screen 0, although 'open volume control' correctly appears on the screen it was launched on). Please see Debian bug #493019 : http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=493019

Should have been fixed back in May: commit 4abbfeee8f5f908a96e9c6f7c01e1ffa5cf98c5c Author: Matt Keenan <matt.keenan@sun.com> Date: Thu May 21 15:16:05 2009 +0100 Mixer applet dock not multihead aware Fixes bug : http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=583452. Mixer applet dock always displays on screen 0 of multihead display. It got backported to 2.26. Could you check either 2.26 or 2.28 and tell me if it really is fixed.
Ok, 2.28.1 indeed has this one fixed.
