GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 556057
Creating an image sized in different units
Last modified: 2008-10-13 04:54:22 UTC
First occurrence: GIMP crashed when I had an image open sized in inches and tried to create a new image sized in cm. Conditions: I can recreate this crash using both saved and unsaved initial images as well as by using the menu (File->New) and keyboard shortcuts (CTRL+n). This happens when attempting to switch from any units EXCEPT when creating the second image sized in pixels. Also an image must be open for this to happen. I can make an image sized in one unit, close it and create a new image in another unit. GIMP does not crash when I open previously created images sized in different units. Nature of crash: GIMP freezes and windows pops up a window saying, “gimp-2.6. Exe has stopped working </br> A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.”
