Evolution does not empty trash on exit
Last modified: 2009-01-16 09:55:52 UTC
Please describe the problem: Evolution does not empty trash on exit, even though the preferences settings are enabled. Steps to reproduce: 1. Preferences menu 2. General 3. Set the checkbox for "Empty trash folders on exit" 4. Select the dropdown to "Every time" Actual results: The trash was not emptied on exit. Expected results: The trash should be emptied on exit. Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/281093
see bug 550414
I have a similar problem.I have a little bit more than 100 messages that I can't cancel from the trash box. No chance whatever I try to do... But new messages that I add get removed with no problem. Only these are "stucked"... I'm running evolution2.24.1 on Ubuntu Intrepid. Thanks in advance
We've this in out downstream bugzilla too, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=469108
Created attachment 122013 [details] [review] proposed eds patch for evolution-data-server; Nothing much to say about the patch itself. Maybe only one thing, it would be nice to have such 'ignore_no_such_table_exception' function globally accessible, because similar thing is used on couple of other places. Just a feature request, I do not know where to put such function and probably also other function for only text compare would be required. In other words, it doesn't worth it at the moment, probably.
