When i start GNUCash for the first time i get the tip of the day and that's that. if i click on close it ends up in 'Not Responding' and the only option i have is to kill it.

any thoughts

Which exact version? What windows version? Would be interesting to get a strace here, but no idea if similar stuff is available for the Windows platform.

The version is 2.2.7 and the windows version is Windows XP 5.1.2600.

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but the maintainers need more information to fix the bug. Could you please answer the questions in the other report in order to help the developers?
