Description rom 2008-10-08 08:33:02 UTC
I have 1 folder by account for all my imap accounts. But for pop accounts, they are in "on this computer" ("local folder" equivalent in thunderbird).
This structure is very annoying, I have to create filters for every pop account to put the mails in a subfolder of "received mails" (but they still share trash, etc.).

I would like a way to have 1 folder for pop account, exactly like for imap accounts.

1 folder for pop account --> 1 folder PER pop account

Please read the description for "usability" before adding that keyword. Removing.
Comment 3 rom 2008-10-08 11:36:30 UTC
OK. I hope it will be included soon.

I have never understood the benefit of a "local folder" which mixes up all email accounts.
Comment 4 André Klapper 2008-10-08 12:06:08 UTC
No, it will not be included
Comment 5 rom 2008-10-08 12:12:58 UTC
Never? Why that?
Comment 6 André Klapper 2008-10-08 14:30:40 UTC
Probably because you haven't written the code for it yet?!
Comment 7 rom 2008-10-08 14:34:54 UTC
AhAh :)

I thought you meant "it will never be included" because it sucks...
Comment 8 André Klapper 2008-10-08 14:52:01 UTC
No, it's all about priorities and limited manpower :)
