GIMP never remembers the selected printer. Go to page setup, then select a printer, then the page size, but it always defaults back to the default printer if you go to it again.

Another problem is that it doesn't actually respect the selected page size, it goes back to whatever it feels like is default. The two modes that stick for me are Letter and A4. Nothing else.

And even if you do want to print in letter, it doesn't have the correct scaling. 1 inch on the screen is NOT 1 inch on paper. This is a show stopper for GIMP.
