Description Eric 2008-10-03 07:24:55 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When photos are deleted from f-spot's collection using the file manager, thumbnails for those photos still clutter up the thumbnail view.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Import a large batch of photos from a digital camera into f-spot.
2. Close f-spot.
3. Open up the destination folder on the hard disk using a file manager and delete some of the photos, leaving only the ones good enough to keep.
4. Re-open fspot.

Actual results:
Thumbnails for photos that are no longer present on the hard disk are displayed in f-spot.

Expected results:
Only thumbnails for photos that are actually present on the hard disk should be displayed.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
The workaround for this bug is to delete f-spot's database entirely and re-import every photo. This is sub-optimal.
