Description andras 2008-10-01 21:50:45 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When drawing fast on gimp canvas (image fit to view), the interpolation of the points is weird (rectangular). I did filed this bug reports for 2.46, but I was too lazy to find it to complete with this, sorry.

Steps to reproduce:
1. create a blank page (for a weirder result, use some page with 300 dpi)
2. fit to 100%
3. draw something fast or quite slowly, the result will be inacceptable
(the circles are lines). I used the paintbrush tool for this test.

Actual results:
you get a weird image

Expected results:
bad result

Does this happen every time?
interesting: with mouse yes, with stylus (wacom graphire4) only in case of circles if you are drawing fast as a madman (around 3 circles/s). The wavy lines drawn at inferior speed are good. It should not be a tablet problem, because it is always reproductible with mouse under windowsxp.

You have already filed this bug report before, and it was closed as a duplicate (bug 539923). Why did you file another one!? That really pisses me off. Stop using our bugtracker please. Go away.
