Description Martin Sourada 2008-09-28 19:39:05 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Files supposed to be downloaded are opened in the browser instead, right-click+download linked file does noting.

Steps to reproduce:
1. go to http://live.gnome.org/Epiphany/Downloads
2. try to download anything on that page by left-click
3. or try to donwload anything by right-click + Download Linked File

Actual results:
If you follow step 2. file opens in the browser, which is for tar archives just a mishmash of characters, if you follow step 3. nothing happens.

Expected results:
File starts downloading in the Downloads window.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
I think this might be WebKit-gtk missing some features, probably bug

https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16826

might be the one that prevents implementing this in Epiphany.

Let's dup this with http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=570735, which has the ephy-side patch for downloads.
