Please describe the problem:
One can not save applications for the session even using the gnome-session-properties option button.
Pressing the button, got the message on the command line:

Session saving is not implemented yet!

This is a regression of feature.

Same in 2.24.0, this has never worked with the 2.23.x series.

any kind of session saving capability looks dead.
