Description Duncan Lithgow 2008-09-25 13:40:36 UTC
When I have a directory of images which I want f-spot to handle I always get annoyed by having to wait for all the previews to be generated. They should not be generated while I am trying to do something. If I need to them to make a decisions then of course I will wait, but usually I just want to import the whole directory - I don't need to see the previews before I decide what I want to do.

So please consider that previews should be generated only when/if other user interface options are ready.

Than I can tell f-spot what to do and it can go and do it - generating previews if it wants - but not while I'm sitting waiting to click 'Import'.
