Description Christoph Reiter (lazka) 2008-09-25 06:30:48 UTC
Please describe the problem:
thumbnails get regenerated every time in compact view mode + 400% zoom
nautilus becomes unresponsive for some time..

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set compact view mode to 400% zoom
2. Switch between e.g. list view and compact view

Actual results:
every time nautilus locks up for some time and seems to regenerate the thumbnails

Expected results:
a fast switching experience.. at least after the first time..
or use the same size thumbnails from icon view... which are, most times, already exist.

Does this happen every time?
yes
