Steps to reproduce:
1. set left-handed mouse
2. suspend
3. resume

Actual results:
handedness preference is lost

Expected results:
should maintain handedness preference

Does this happen every time?

This bug is not related to Deskbar-Applet. Reassigning to gnome-control-center.

Probably related to bug 549267, and possibly an X server bug.
