Description Adriano Nagel 2008-09-22 14:54:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When reading a PDF and reaching the bottom of the text shown on screen, you lose track on where to continue reading after scrolling, because evince doesn't scroll a full screen down. The last line you read on the screen will appear somewhere on the next screen after you scroll, you have to search for it to continue reading from the point you stopped.

This makes reading PDFs a tiresome process.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a PDF and set the continuous view mode option.
2. Start to read, scroll with Page Down.

Actual results:
The screen isn't fully scrolled down (ie lines from the previous screen still appear).

Expected results:
Only text following the last line on the previous screen should be shown after scrolling.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
