Description Kristoffer Jan-Olov Tångfelt 2008-09-18 20:24:53 UTC
Please describe the problem:
while trying to call a local IPv6 SIP address and H263 address. ( sip:revellion@2001:16d8:ff5a:1:206:5bff:fe10:4a00 ).

It fails after 1 second with the error "Couldn't connect to host"

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start ekiga on a IPv6 enabled LAN
2. Put in a IPv6 host address to call. or use Avahi's ZeroConf presence and click on a IPv6 presence on the network
3. Attempt to call

Actual results:
It fails to connect the call

Expected results:
That it connects the call just like its IPv4 counterpart.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Avahi/ZeroConf "People Near Me" feature shows IPv6 presences even if the app apparently can't connect to them.

It is not really a major bug. IPv6 is not frequent. Marking as RFE and as DUP.
