Description Ivan Iraci 2008-09-17 14:16:41 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When you open a bzip2 archive containing just one file and look at the 'size' column, you will see that it reports the size of the compressed file and not the uncompressed one.

Steps to reproduce:
1. bzip2 FILE
2. open FILE.bz2
3. look at the uncompressed file size

Actual results:
You will see the size of the compressed archive instead of the size of the uncompressed file.

Expected results:
To see the size of the uncompressed file.

Does this happen every time?
Yes. Every time and in several releases of file-roller.

Bug still exists in file-roller 3.10.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2020-11-11 19:13:23 UTC
bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time.

If you still use file-roller and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/file-roller/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (volunteer workforce and time is limited).
