GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 552378
totem controls redesign
Last modified: 2011-09-10 19:50:59 UTC
I tried to reduce space usage of a control intreface and feet all the control into one line. Looks much better i think and also saving some space. Attaching screenshot and an ugly modified ui file.

I think that this looks pretty neat! I also don't like very much the current interface, it wastes to much space, and this is bad specially for small devices that are popular today. An alternative is to remove controls completely, but doing this removes all feedback, since totem doesn't seem to have OSD or any kind of notification when you seek using keyboard. I in fact prefer mplayer interface because of this.
A very sound proposal. Agreed (since I "suffer" from this very same problem).
