If the "Automatically load subtitle files when movie is loaded" option is disabled, .srt files are not listed in View -> Subtitles. This is very confusing for users as now this option is not enabled by default (and I still think that's a bad idea #526484 ...) and they don't see their subtitles in this menu either.
