Currently rhythmbox's DAAP plugin ignores all local DAAP services, which isn't really the right thing to do.  Obviously it should ignore itself, but I'm also running a DAAP proxy on my laptop (http://code.google.com/p/radio2daap/) which doesn't appear in Rhythmbox.
