Each IMAP account has an "automatically synchronise remote mail locally" option. Each IMAP folder has an "copy folder content locally for offline operation" option. It is not clear how these two options interact.

If it is the case that the account-level setting overrides the per-folder setting then perhaps the per-folder setting should be displayed as enabled and insensitive when the global setting is enabled.
