Description Lubomír Sedlář 2008-09-01 14:24:38 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When gnome-terminal is used with hidden menubar and a tab is detached, menubar is displayed in new window. Menu items have no letters underlined, in fact key shortcuts do not work. When you click on View menu, Show menubar item is not checked. First click on it checks it, second unchecks and hides the menubar.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run gnome-terminal
2. Hide menubar
3. Create new tab
4. Drag it outside of the window

Actual results:
New window is displayed, but menubar is no longer hidden. Also, key shortcuts for menu items do not work.

Expected results:
Menubar should not be displayed.

Does this happen every time?
yes
