GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 549737
Overlapping monitor identifiers and too big font size
Last modified: 2009-08-06 21:04:12 UTC
Will attach a screenshot. Issues: 1) Font size for displays on the "Virtual playground" is too big 2) Overlapping display identifiers Also, it would be nice if the monitor layout area would consider the Xorg's virtual display size and also show it somewhere (like maximum screen size)

These are two separate bugs: 1. The font size in gnome-display-properties needs to be adjusted to fit. 2. GnomeRRLabeler in libgnome-desktop doesn't handle overlapping outputs very well. It needs to look at the "cloned" flags in the GnomeRRConfig and friends, or do something smart about overlapped outputs in general.

The too-big font is fixed in commit 5d9f7b5e2a312e3dc5a1a385858992a8380949fd. The overlapping monitor labels are fixed in gnome-desktop's commit 5f6345d801add47baace850e6498fa2b79972ba0.
