Description Johannes Berg 2008-08-28 13:10:59 UTC
Please add the ability to add video to the database.

With existing digital cameras sometimes one is tempted to film short video sequences instead of a number of still images. I'm sure technological improvements in cameras will mean that this will become the norm rather than the exception.

I recently found myself cleaning up all collected images I had by importing them into f-spot and assigning tags to them etc., but a number of videos I have around would benefit from that as well.

Of course, it'd be even better if one could not only tag video sequences with tags, but instead assign tags to a timeline; for example if I were to film a video in which different people show up over time it would be great if I then could assign different tags to different pieces of the video.

I'm sure others can come up with many more use cases!
