Description Jorge González 2008-08-26 22:08:50 UTC
I need some context to translate the following strings:

#: ../plugins/symbol-db/anjuta-symbol-db.glade.h:8
msgid "Parallel global/project scan of symbols."

Parallel global/project?

Sorry, I'm not a very good GIT user, could you please provide also some context for this:

#: ../plugins/git/anjuta-git.glade.h:42
msgid "Commit on fast-forward merges"

Thank you very much.

Well, it's the option if the scan for project symbols and the scan for global symbols should happen in parallel or not. I don't think the string is very good - suggestions welcome.

Indeed it's a bit unluky.

Maybe "Parallel scan of project and global symbols" is better?

"Fast-forward" merges are cases where you merge into a branch that doesn't have any other changes in it. That is, it just updates, or "fast-forwards" the state of the branch you merged into as a verbatim copy of the source since the last merge.
