Description Philip Van Hoof 2008-08-25 09:39:16 UTC
Whenever you switch resolution, it seems to happen (quite frequently for me) that panels simply disappear. Doing a kill -9 -1 sometimes helps getting them back. Logging out and logging in doesn't.

Perhaps this has something to do with processes keeping the position cached being alive until you kill -9 -1? Like gconfd-2?

Err, it's working here. What GNOME version is it? Does it also happen with a clean user?

Philip, can you answer Vincents questions in comment #1? TIA!
