GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 548141
Fallback autorun dialog: "open Audio Disc" could be "handle Audio Disc"
Last modified: 2012-11-10 14:56:18 UTC
Nautilus 2.23.x has a very nice disc insertion popup window. However I see two small problems: a) the header does not take the full width, it should not wrap at the middle b) the dialog talks about how to "open" the CD. This sounds strange, how about using "handle" the CD?

for a) I suppose this is due to bug 101968
Both valid in 2.32. a) is fixed in 3.2, but b) ("open") still valid in 3.2.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use. By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME. Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
As I wrote before, it's still valid in 3.2. Are there any pointers that strings have changed for 3.4?
(In reply to comment #5) > As I wrote before, it's still valid in 3.2. > Are there any pointers that strings have changed for 3.4? The dialog in comment #1 is only used in fallback mode, and is provided by gnome-settings-daemon now.
And that dialogue is now gone, just like fallback mode: https://live.gnome.org/ThreePointSeven/Features/DropOrFixFallbackMode
