Description Andreas Moog 2008-08-14 13:43:15 UTC
Please describe the problem:
A User of Ubuntu reported this bug at launchpad, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/255929 for reference. Here is a short description:

When a user plays some footage with multiple audio streams and / or multiple subtitle streams Totem provides the functionality for the user to change which stream is being played. In both cases, a user trying to change subtitles and / or audio is able to select the new stream but Totem will not effect the change. There is a work around where if the user fiddles with pressing the mouse in a prior section of the playback a few times the new desired streams will eventually come in.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Totem allows the user to change the preferred audio stream and or the subtitle stream duing playback

2. The bug is easily replicated by doing this, and observing that Totem fails to actually change the stream

Actual results:
The audio stream does not change

Expected results:
The audio stream changing

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
The user has identified a clumsy workaround that involves selecting the new stream, observing it not being enabled, then by pressing the mouse in the seekbar to go back in the stream the new desired streams will eventually come into play.
