Description Murray Cumming 2008-08-12 12:19:15 UTC
When I hibernate my PC, while playing music, Rhythmbox prevents the hibernation. I can't think of a good reason why it should.

Automatic hibernation generally only happens when
a) The battery is almost empty
b) The laptop lid is closed

In both cases, I think it's best to assume that the user really wants automatic hibernation to happen, regardless of if Rhythmbox is playing.

And Rhythmbox should only prevent _automatic_ suspension, because when I explicitly suspend then I really mean it.
