Description Alexander Skwar 2008-08-11 07:45:50 UTC
In Vinagre 0.5.1 (german localization, if important), there's the Ctrl+D shortcut for creating a "bookmark".

That get's in the way of using Ctrl+D normally on a shell (with ^D, you can easily logout, or "drop" a connection).

It would be good, if at least this shortcut could be dropped.

It would be better, if there were a way to disable *ALL* the shortcuts, just like it can be done in Gnome-Terminal.

And even *MUCH* more annoying: The handling of <TAB> doesn't stay inside the connected system.

What did I do?

I connected to a Solaris 10 Sparc system running twm (that barebone window manager). There, an xterm is running. Shell: bash. I clicked the xterm window. Typed /opt<tab> - now I'm cycling through all of the Vinagre window elements (menu, tab list, list of bookmarks).

This makes Vinagre completely unusable.
