crash in Gimmie: gimmie crashes when star...

What were you doing when the application crashed? gimmie crashes when started from terminal, crashes when added as an applet to panel too. It does work though if I start it with root from terminal. As if it didn't find some path with a normal user, or didn't have access to sth.
