Description klange 2008-08-07 19:39:16 UTC
I personally despise this new behavior of of always updating the struts on auto-hidden panels that was added with revision 11188. It causes major problems with Compiz and is noticeably slow even in Metacity.

As in the title of this bug report, instead of simply removing the exception, make it an option, available through gconf, to use the new behavior, and default it to be on.

In the mean time, I'm going to have patch the exception back in for myself before this change drives me crazy.
