Description Andreas Nilsson 2008-08-05 22:23:10 UTC
Seahorse shows some kind of terminal+a key, but I didn't really understand what it was supposed to be.
Pressing properties I found out it was a SSH-key. Perhaps it would be better to have the column say that in plain text instead of using a image.

Perhaps a tooltip instead because gpg keys and I presume certificates would normally appear on that tab and have their own icons in that column.
Comment 3 Michael Monreal 2008-08-06 00:39:36 UTC
I've never thought of this but now that Andreas mentions it... why not have text labels "SSH" and "PGP" here instead of the icon?

You mentioned certificates... are you going to put them into the same tab as well? Hmm... I guess text labels "X509" or "PKCS" would be fine in that case for those and would be more useful than another icon. There's just no good metaphors for SSH/PGP-Keys etc.

Please don't clutter the UI with repetitive text. Better would be to use a tree which is expanded by default, and groups the keys by their type. This way you only have one "GPG/PGP" label/icon.

This icon is no longer used, so I'll mark this as fixed.
